This happened at an event held in Lagos. The chairman of the company, Mr. Chris Bamidele disclosed that Toyin Abraham was picked as a result of how she portrays herself, and what she represents in the society. The actress, however, took to her social media page to appreciate them. She wrote  “Becoming part of something big and ambitious further fuel your own ambition. Khafi Kareem and Alexander Kareem | Image: The Sun UK BBNaija star  Khafi Kareem , has been left devastated after her younger brother Alexander Kareem was killed in a London shooting on Monday, June 8. The Sun UK reported that Alexander, 20, was shot close to his family house in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. He was said to have been walking back home from a convenience store when he was shot by a yet-to-be-identified person in the early hours of Monday. Witnesses say he screamed out “help me” as he lay dying in the street at 12.40 am. Passers-by tried to give him CPR before paramedics reached the scene but Alexander was pronounced dead a short time after. According to the post-mortem Alexander died from gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. Professor James Nwoye Adichie, the first Nigerian Professor of Statistics,  and father of award winning writer Chimamanda. Adichie,  has died. A family member who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed this to the  Anambra State Broadcasting Service (ABS)  and said; “Our father, Professor J. N. Adichie, Odelora  of Abba, died late yesterday night, June 10, 2020, at Chira Memorial Hospital, Awkuzu”. Professor Adichie, who hails from Abba, in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, is the father of Award-winning writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Aged 88, Professor Adichie became a Professor in 1976, at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, where he retired in 1997″.Until his death, Professor Adichie held the prestigious traditional title of Odelora Abba.

KNigerians on Twitter and other social media platforms are currently reacting to the unconfirmed arrest of Dubai-based flamboyant Nigerian, Ray Hushpuppi, a suspected ‘Yahoo Yahoo Big boy’ who claims to be a real estate developer. Reports say Hushpuppi and his colleagues were  arrested in Dubai by International Police  (Interpol) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over alleged fraud. They were allegedly involved in fraud and money laundering of over $100million which was supposed to be given to Native Americans during the Coronavirus Pandemic. The young socialite and Instagram big boy had late last year changed his  Instagram profile  from the famous ‘the Billionaire Gucci master’ to  ‘real estate developer’ , following the arrest of fellow Instagram and Dubai based big boy, Mompha, by officials of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission. However, Nigerians have started reacting to the news with some Nigerians saying Hushpuppi’s arrest will not come as a surprise

New reports have alleged that Dubai based Niferian big boy Ray Hushpuppi and his friends (Mr Woodberry and Efe) have been whisked away from the combined forces of the FBI and the INTERPOL at his hideout in Dubai. This news was shared by folks who alleged that they were at the scene where the Nigerian socialite and his partner, Woodyberry, where arrested. Their arrest was based on the account of money laundering after some cases of fraud was linked to them. According to sources, Interpol arrested Hushpuppi for Covid-19 ventilator $35million fraud which was purported to be given to Native Americans during the Corona Virus Pandemic. Only last year, Nigerian big boy based in Dubai, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as  Mompha, was arrested by Interpol  on a $5 million (N1.8 billion) scam he pulled. Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has tested positive for COVID-19, making him the fourth governor to test positive for the virus. The state commissioner of information John Okiyi Kalu, confirmed the governor status in a statement on Monday after the governor droppedd samples twice for the test. ”Recall that on Saturday, 30th May, 2020, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu volunteered his sample for COVID-19 test and subsequently directed members of the state Executive Council (EXCO) and those of the inter ministerial committee on COVID-19 to submit themselves for the same test. Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has finally confessed about undergoing surgery to achieve her curvy body. According to the single mother of one, she underwent a surgery to help reduce her big tummy after she gave birth to her son. Speaking during an Instagram live interview with Mr Paul,  Yvonne  said “Yes, I did surgery (liposuction) on my stomach after I had my son; so, that made me look curvier. I had the surgery here in Nigeria. I don’t have issues with anyone on earth; I do whatever I want with myself and body”. Yvonne Jegede also disclosed that she would get married again if she finds someone who will love her child as much as he loves her.
