Michigan records death of youngest covid-19 victim


5 year old girl Skylar Herbert becomes the first child I Michigan to die of the pathogen that has now infected more than 31,000 Michiganders and claimed the lives of 2,391. Detroit's statistics has it that the youngest death recorded was 20 years and the oldest, 107 years while average age is 73 years.



   According to Detroit's news, the first to record Skylar's death, the girl tested positive for covid-19 in March after complaining of a headache and later developed a rare form of meningitis and brain swelling.
 

  She died on Sunday at Royal Oak Beumont after spending two weeks on a ventilator.

Family, friends, the church amongst all has taken to social media to express their grief


Skylar's mother, LaVorinda told the news
"Skylar was the type of girl that would just run up to you and jump in your arms to hug you. 
It didn't matter what she was doing, she would stop what she was doing to tell me she loved me like 20 Tim a day.
