Tom and Jerry cartoon director, Gene Ditch dies at 95
The director of the famous Tom and Jerry series, Gene Ditch has died and at age 95.
According to Metro, UK, the Oscar_winning illustrator waa found dead in his apartment in Prague on Thursday night.
His Publisher Petro Himmel said he died unexpectedly and was last seen in the litter Quarter neighborhood.
Deitch was best known for his famous works on Popeye the sailor, the Tom and Jerry animated series of which he directed 13 episodes, Munro,Tom Terrific, Nudnik.
In 2004, he received the Winsor M, Cat award for his life long contribution to animation.
Every 21st century childhood was incomplete without the Tom and Jerry series.
